Youth & Adolescent Therapy (Ages 8–18)
Helping Young People Navigate Life’s Challenges
Children and teens may not always have the words to express their struggles, but their behavior often tells the story. Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or behavioral issues, we’re here to help them heal and grow.
We support youth facing:
Anxiety, depression, or mood swings
Trauma, abuse, or neglect
School issues, bullying, or social isolation
Self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or identity struggles
Parent-child conflict and family transitions
Grief, loss, or abandonment
ADHD, anger, or behavioral challenges
Our Approach
ACTS Care offers developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed care that meets youth where they are—emotionally, mentally, and culturally. We utilize evidence-based practices tailored for each age group and personality.
Therapy methods may include:
Play therapy and expressive arts (for younger children)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT)
Narrative Therapy
Mindfulness and coping skills training
Family involvement and parental guidance
A Safe Space to Be Heard
We work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure your child is supported at home, school, and in therapy. Our therapists are trained to build trust and rapport while honoring the individuality of every young client.
We believe healing happens through connection—when youth feel safe enough to express their emotions and strong enough to learn new ways of navigating life.
Your Child Deserves to Be Seen, Heard, and Supported.
Let’s partner in their healing journey.
