Corey White
Mental Health Intern
Actively Seeking New Clients
Corey White is a counseling intern completing his Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Governors State University.
He focuses on supporting couples, adult men, and young adults as they navigate life. He focuses on relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and past trauma. He believes that true healing happens when you feel completely seen and safe.
His approach is holistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed. He treats you as the absolute expert on your own life. Together, you will look at how your past experiences shaped your present reality, using a mix of mindfulness, self-compassion, and narrative therapy to help you rewrite your story on your own terms.
When he is not in the therapy chair, you can find him working out, volunteering, and spending time with family. He knows therapy can feel intimidating at first, but with support and the environment to be you, it becomes less intimidating. If you feel like we might be a good fit, please reach out to our office to set up a consultation.
